If I could clap for this more than 50 times I absolutely would. The biggest challenge that we face now as designers (in my opinion), is that in a world of ever-increasing complexity, we have to continuously find ways to simplify interfaces/interactions, without diluting experiences.

I would argue that these seven points you've listed are absolutely the ones we need to be focusing on as we work to create better user experiences, both for new products, and for existing ones.
