Hey Corey, that's a great question and I wanted to clarify: not every project or piece that you'll do as a designer will see the light of day. Matter of fact, probably only about 10% of what you do will make the cut.
The reason I specify such high volume is because I know that realistically most people won't hit that, but that's not the point. The point is where you're aiming at.
One thing I realized in my early career while I was struggling was that I was aiming low and hitting, rather than aiming high and missing.
I'm certainly not an advocate of doing a rush or hack job by any stretch of the imagination, what I do mean though is that that by creating every day you set yourself up for continuous growth and success, rather than stagnation.
