Hey there Jon!

First and foremost, I really appreciate you taking the time to write what you did, and to share your takeaway of this title with us.

I wanna make sure that we’re talking about the same book here, just because I feel like at this point I either:

a. May have missed something entirely, or

b. May have linked to the wrong book in this article

If you wouldn’t mind, Jon, would be willing to tell us a little more about what in the book was irrelevant to your goal, and if there are any particular pages or passages that really stood out to you in a negative way?

Maybe a little more about what, specifically you’re looking for in a UI design title, and if you’ve run across any that really exemplify the types of design instruction that you’re looking for both in terms of theoreticals, and practicals?

The reason I ask is that if you feel like this particular book recommendation is either sub-standard or non-representative of real-world UI design and application, I really want to make sure I’ve got solid documentation on what exactly the problems are.

Again I really, sincerely appreciate both your openness and honesty, and I look forward to hearing from you.
