That's the main issue with aesthetics and the reason why it's so hard to do at scale: not everyone is gonna like it.
Not everyone is gonna get it.
Not everyone is gonna respond well to it.
And not everyone is gonna convert from it.
That's where UXR comes in to figure out who your target users are, what they expect from a UI, and tailoring that UI to line up with their expectations.
This is just one approach of many, though it is worth mentioning that any "new" style we've seen in the last 5 years is just a rebag of styles that have existed since circa 2005-2010.
